Join Sayang on Thursday 12th October for a special sharing of Si Polan x2 2023* at Hope House Leeds.

From 19:00 - 20:00 there will be a live sound experience, taking elements from Sayang and their collaborator's residencies over the last year.

Field/recordings taken during their time in Leeds, Hebden Bridge and Malaysia will be rehashed and revisted for a reflective, peaceful sharing.

Guests are invited to lie down, sit, rest, nap and listen to Si Polan x2, 2023 in this sensory space.

This event is PAYF, and all donations will be split between Si Polan x2 and MAP charity. There will be additional zines to purchase on the day, to further support Si Polan x2 and MAP.

*Si Polan x2 is a sonic and sensorial reimagining of archiving processes and Malaysian outsider narratives, driven by rest, resistance, gender + relationship liberation and joy.

In 2023, Sayang focused on research and development with a close team of Malaysian collaborators and additional residents. All works were created during residency sessions in UK/MY and Sayang's own reflections.
